About Michael Carson - As with most inspectors, my career started in the construction industry. During that time I performed duties including framing, plumbing, and roofing. My second area of focus then became the electrical trade. As a former member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (I.B.E.W.), I received my high voltage electrical education at one of the nation's best and most respected electrical training centers. Pursuing a further understanding of all the aspects in the electrical trade, I later began working in residential low voltage installation. This provided me with an understanding of low voltage components and systems including: security, home audio, cable, data and phone. After my time as an installer, I moved into the real estate market and pursued my current professions. My professional education was provided by Allied Business Schools and Kaplan Professional Schools. I am a licensed Real Estate Appraiser and a Certified Home Inspector with over 9 years experience in the Southern California market area.
